Vertical Chaff cutter is used for cutting, crushing crop straw, grass, and other forage. The machine is powered by a motor, which transmits power to the main shaft. The gear at the other end of the main shaft transmits the regulated power to the grass pressing roller through a gearbox, universal joint, etc. When the processed material enters between the upper and lower grass pressing rollers, it is clamped by the rollers and fed into the cutting mechanism at a certain speed. After being chopped by a high-speed rotating cutting tool, it is thrown out of the machine through the grass outlet.
